Our Commitment to Safe Sport & Athlete Well-Being

As a USA Swimming–sanctioned swim club, athlete safety, well-being, and positive sport experiences are at the center of everything we do. We follow the policies and expectations set by USA Swimming and the U.S. Center for Safe Sport, the national organization responsible for protecting athletes from abuse and misconduct.

The resources below outline the rules, policies, and Safe Sport standards that guide how our club operates. We encourage all athletes, parents, and guardians—current and prospective—to review these materials and bookmark the links for future reference.

What Safe Sport Means for Your Family

Safe Sport is about creating an environment where athletes can train, compete, and grow safely and confidently. For families, this means:

  • Clear expectations for appropriate behavior and boundaries

  • Policies that promote athlete protection, respect, and inclusion

  • Required education and background screening for coaches and club leadership

  • Defined procedures for reporting concerns and addressing issues appropriately

  • A shared commitment to putting athletes’ physical and emotional well-being first

Safe Sport is a partnership between athletes, families, coaches, and the club—working together to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.
